Evaluation of the Relationship Between Disease Severity and Viral Cycle Threshold Value in COVID-19 Patients

Objective: There is a positive and significant relationship between severity viral load in some diseases. Studies on the SARS-CoV-2 at diagnosis of coronavirus disease-2019 (COVID-19) have yielded conflicting results. Therefore, we aimed to evaluate clinical status patients with COVID-19. Methods: Data diagnosed COVID-19 admitted our center May 01 June 31, 2020, were retrospectively reviewed. The divided into two groups according their characteristics as mild-moderate severe. demographic, laboratory, clinical, radiological data retrieved from electronic folders. Results: entire cohort included 285 patients; 254 had course, 31 severe course. Statistical analyses revealed that was not associated symptom duration (p>0.05). According multivariate logistic regression analysis, only ferritin, C-reactive protein, lactate dehydrogenase elevations positively correlated (p<0.05).
